touble don't last

A 230 page book titled trouble don't last  by Shelly Pearsall explains how Samual and his guardian run away from their master. The book takes place in Kentucky through Ohio during the 1860's when all African Americans without free papers were slaves. One of the people who raised Samuel, after his mother was sold off , is named Harrison. One night Harrison walks into the house and says, "Come on Samuel, no time for questions." After that, they run and never look back. They head for Canada, and that's why this  book is  so intense from beginning to end. Will they be captured and killed? Or will they finish their journey to Cananda and become free?
