Percy Jackson thinks his ADHD is just acting up again, until he realizes that the Greek monsters walking out of his textbook aren't just hallucinations. Groovy Greeks......

              A 79 page book written by Terry Deary and Martin Brown is titled Groovy Greeks and is a secondary source of the Greeks "horrible histories."  This book is very humorous either with a comic or a fact to laugh about on every page, along with lots of useful information on Greek gods/goddesses or just Greek itself. From knowing nothing about Greece before reading this I would recommend it anyone, preferably if you enjoy laughing and learning at the same time.

My first video in Xtranormal!

HERE is my first video on Xtranormal, and I assure you that making a video is not a challenge. I was completed in less than 15 minutes and realize how entertaining this can be. This particular video was just to test the website, so it is basically about nothing.



I also realize that if you read the description to the video there will be a mispelling, although I was not able to edit it after it was published...............

Anne of Green Gables

        L.M. Montgomery really shows how orphan Anne Shirley bursts out of her all ready opened shell in 279 page book Anne of Green Gables. Talkative Anne is not welcomed to the Cuthbert residence- at first. Siblings Matthew and Marilla are surprised and quiet disappointed when they end up with and eleven year old girl orphan, not a boy like they wanted. Anne soon shows these two that even though she isn't what they expected, she can be trustworthy and responsible if her imagination doesn't get in the way. Even though she isn't perfect and has her moments, Anne never makes the same mistake twice and a building is never boring with her around. This book is greatly recommended to one who likes humble little towns in the country, along with that character who just has to show up to make your day!

Around the World in 80 Days

        A 273 page novel by Jules Verne, Around the World in 80 Days, welcomes billionaire Mr. Phileas Fogg. When Mr. Fogg makes a bet for 20,000 pounds to whether he can go around the world in 80 days, everyone concludes he's crazy. Despite the fact that this is the year of 1872, Mr. Fogg still attempts to achieve his goal- he travels by elephant, boat train, and even sled to keep his 20,000 pounds and prove something to the world. This is not impossible. On his journey he meets many new people from around the globe, some who try to get him arrested or killed.This adventurous book is recommended to anyone who enjoys reading about a thrilling and suspenseful trip around the world.

CAMP

Camp was so much fun!!!
        There were so many things I loved at camp it's hard for me to choose which was my favorite. First of all, cabin time was crazy. Madeline went on at least three sugar highs (I'm honestly not sure where she got this "sugar" from) and I'm sure that we were singing so loud that the farthest boy cabin could hear us :-) Mrs. Mrkaich planned for the rest of the cabin to give Dyllie and Rachel a package since they didn't get any letters. She never told us that there was stuff in the bag for the rest of the cabin!! Free time had so many activities available for us. The only things I did were the rock wall and zip line because I loved them both so much. (But I'm sure the other things were really fun, too) The classes are there, too. My favorite classes were the Miwok, Survival, and Orienteering (like I said, it's hard for me to choose which one is my favorite) I liked these the most because I was either interested in the topic, or, in orienteering, I was working with people who I cooperate well with. (As you may guess, Dyllie and Rachel) Oh, but there were the initiatives, too. Let's face it, I loved every class and hike we did at camp!!!!!!!! The quiz show was the PERFECT way to end the week and was so wild (I actually enjoyed how wild it was) to wrap it up, EVERYTHING IN CAMP WAS AWESOME!
